Time Warp
Cuba, it's like travelling back in time.
Part of the magic of the island is a sense of being lost in time in a country where billboards advertise loyalty to Fidel Castro
rather than McDonald's, and where 1950s Chevrolets and Chryslers still roam the island’s roads.
These American classic cars with their tail fins and chrome grills are a necessity not a luxury: often held together
with sticky tape since original American car parts are nearly impossible to get.
Life there will change dramatically, now that the United States and Cuba have resumed diplomatic relations, but let's hope
Cuba doesn't become a theme-park for rich tourists.
